Badminton School is a registered charity. The Governors of the School are also appointed as trustees of the charity. There is a single Board of Governors which exercises governance over both the Senior and Junior Schools. Responsibility for the day-to-day management of Badminton School, including the Junior School, is delegated by the Board to the Senior Management Team, which is led by the Head.
Members of the Board of Governors are selected based on the Board’s analysis of the School’s requirements. Governors bring their expertise to the School from a wide range of professional and commercial arenas. They frequently attend School events and always take a lively interest in the School, and particularly the girls' achievements and activities.
The Board of Governors meets at least once every term. It also appoints committees to examine specific areas of the School’s activities and to provide advice and recommendations to the whole Board. Membership of committees is indicated below.
