Amazing to see the girls at Badminton School rising so high in the Daily Telegraph's 'Best independent schools in 2018' who have placed us 30th nationally in their GCSE league tables!

For the record our results were phenomenal:

A Level -

  • 55.2% A*-A
  • 95% of Sixth Form girls achieved the university place of their choice, including 4 Oxbridge places
  • History achieved 100% A*-A
  • Further Maths achieved 75% A*-A

GCSE -

  • an impressive 87% of all grades awarded at A*-A / 9-7
  • approximately half of all girls gained GCSE straight A*-A / 9-7
  • Badminton's pioneering GCSE Computer Science pupils gained 10% of all grade 9s awarded to girls nationally by the Edexcel exam board!
  • 95% of all grades awarded in Spanish at A*-A
  • GCSE subjects still examined at A*-G achieved some of the School's highest statistics for a number of years and 90% graded at A*-A
  • Approximately a third of all grades awarded in GCSE reformed subjects at the highly coveted grade 9

Huge well done to everyone who made these results happen. It is great to see we are still pioneering 160 years on.
