All our Sixth Formers have been adapting to this Term’s changes with positivity and enthusiasm and the Sixth Form Centre staff are filled with pride watching them make the most of online learning.
Both our on-site Boarders and remote learning pupils have been engaged with co-curricular activities including music lessons, Debating Clubs and various enrichment activities. Last weekend, three of our on-site Lower Sixth Boarders (Catherine, Sybil and Carsoline) conducted a virtual Science Outreach morning for Year 7 pupils. Sybil gives her account of the day:
On Saturday’s Science Outreach, I did the Potion experiment. Because of the lockdown, Mr Williams sent us the kits in advanced and I did the demonstration in my room. My team went through the instructions and practiced together before it was our turn to demonstrate and teach girls from Year 7. The experiment was very successful, and all of the audience enjoyed it very much!
Well done girls!
