As we start winding down to the end of the year and preparing for Boarders to leave, the fun and excitement does not stop in Bartlett. We have had another action-packed weekend starting with the eagerly awaited Juniors trip to Cabot Circus. Their aim to fit in as much shopping before heading back to School. Meanwhile, the Year 7s and 8s headed over to Sixth Form to spend some time playing games.

“We had a fun time playing rounders, Hide and Seek and card games with the Sixth Formers” said Nathalia, Year 7.

Saturday evening saw the return of the highly anticipated Bartlett Silent Disco. The Boarders had spent the last few weeks adding songs to the playlists; the three channels decided as pop, old school, and K-pop. We started the evening with a takeaway feast with plenty pizza, snacks, and Portuguese tarts, then San Pellegrino’s in hand we headed for the dancefloor and danced the night away. A great time had by all.

“We really enjoyed the silent disco and loved the glow sticks. We had a great time dancing to our favourite songs.” Evie and Vanessa, Junior Boarders.

The evening culminated with our Year 8s having their last sleepover in the common room before they part ways for summer.

We had a much more relaxing Sunday. Lots of girls relaxing and enjoying their free time and heading out on trips to Henleaze. The afternoon saw the Juniors making pizza pinwheels whilst some of the Year 8s enjoyed watching ‘Joseph and the Technicolour Dream Coat’.

We then rounded off the weekend with a spot of litter picking around the School site!
