As part of the Outduction program, some of Year 11 have been working on making the Science Outreach programme even better for next year’s recruits in Year 10 and the Lower Sixth by helping to create some new training materials, including an updated safety briefing video and tips and tricks for presenting many of our demonstrations.
Alisha, Ananda, Chloe, Hadiza, Kylie, Meghna, Noor, India, Maryam, Priya, , Tamzin, Tia and Tobi have been doing outstanding work running through our favourite demos, analysing each one and making sure that we have a video that explains how to do the demonstration – with maximum safety – and how to explain it clearly to our younger audiences.
As we move back to a regular cycle of visits and events in the Autumn Term, the hard work of our dedicated team will help everyone get up to speed and ready to present and Tobi cannot wait to get her hands on the superconductors in next week’s final session!
